Come let us serve the Lord!

Daniel 7:13-14
Come let us serve the Lord!

I Kept looking in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven one like a Son of Man was coming, and He came up to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him, and to Him was given dominion, glory and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and men of every language might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which will not pass away; and His kingdom is one which will not be destroyed.
Let us take some time today to behold the beauty of our king, Jesus Christ upon Whom the Ancient of Days has appointed dominion forever. Verse 27 says, “Then the sovereignty, the dominion, and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the dominions will serve and obey Him.” A time is coming when our King shall return and reign over all the earth.

Be stirred in your heart today…..

I wish I had the words to stir and provoke us all to action. I wish I had the words to tear down the blanket of sleepiness that permeates every fiber of our being. I wish I had the words of Jesus as He spoke to Lazarus, “Rise and come forth from the tomb!”
Everyday is such a challenge to rise in the morning to fight for the Lord and to set more captives free from the prisons of our enemy. The diluting spirit of our enemy numbs us to such great affect that it is easy to forget that we even have an enemy. But there is great victory to be had for all who will rise up and be a soldier for the Lord. Our King is looking for men and women who will not bow the knee to the gods of this world! There are many lives to be rescued before His return! So under the banner of our Lord and savior come out and serve Him with all your heart!
Rise early in the morning and pray for one another! We are all in this together. The power of our God is real and He will fight on our behalf. As Moses needed Aaron to help uphold his arms during the battle so that things might go favorably for the sons of Israel so also must we support one another’s arms in prayer that great victories might be won against our adversary the devil. God expects us to join together and uphold one another. So let us come out from the camp and array ourselves for battle!

Come join in the fight for REVIVAL and a GREAT AWAKENING in our land!
Where are you? Come out today for the Lord!

A fellow servant of Jesus Christ, - Seth

  1. OK Seth. Yes I agree Jesus is coming soon . Now you use the word,
"Revival" which I have heard before. In the NIV bible this word is not used. However, "revive" and "reviving" is. (Ps 80:18, 85:6) Isa 57:15, Hosea 6:2, Ps 19:7. Are you using it in the same context?

Also, does your revival have anything to do with the "GO" part ,
when Jesus said, " ...GO and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit AND teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Matt 28:19,20 ?

    2. William. I understand how you think people may need a disaster like 9/11 to turn to Christ , and then be revived in heart ,mind, and soul. But do you think they need something big like in the Book of Revelation? How "big" of a thing do you think must happen, and how big of a Revival are you talking about?

  3. Daniel visions was a prophesy for things to come. Then Jesus was the ancient of days Daniel saw that it was given to to the Lord was given dominion glory to the heavens, and all the nations. Heaven and earth will pass away ,but His word will never pass away. Jesus Christ is the King of all the earth and the Ancient of days.

  4. I understand what Seth is saying; that we should be ready at all times to share the word of God and then let the Holy Spirit work.
I find that there’s no right or wrong way to share salvation with someone. As we read in the Gospels, the Lord first met people at where they are, the woman at the well, the woman who was brought before him to be stoned, the bind man, the man at the pool and others. The Lord didn’t condemn but talk to them as a friend who cares. The only ones that the Lord condemn where the Sadducees, Pharisees and those who thought they were Holy.
I don’t know Greek or Hebrew to know if Revival is used in the original text, but don’t forget that all the Bibles have been translated by men and they did their best to keep it true to what the Holy Spirit was saying.

    1. Larry. The way I found out the word revival is not in NIV bible was through
NIV Concordance. I did not check it out in the Strongs. Maybe it is in the Strongs.

Who do you think The Ancient Of Times is?

  5. My understanding is the God the Father is the Ancient of Days to Whom the Son of Man--Jesus Christ--is presented. In this passage we see God the Father passing and transferring His authority, which is ALL authority over ALL things as the Creator of ALL things, to His Son Jesus so that all the nations would know to listen to, respect, and accept the teaching of Christ. The message of Christ on the Cross is "Father, forgive them" which ushers in a new covenant of fellowship between God the Father and mankind. Daniel is pointing out that we are to give utter and total obedience to the teachings of Christ-- make them part of our lives--because Christ speaks, acts, and lives as a role model for us with the total authority of God the Father. Christ's words and actions have the seal, approval, and authority of God the Father, the Ancient of Days--Aunt Sue

    1. Aunt Sue. I was going to o/ (Me raising hand) and make a comment on who I I thought was the Ancient of Days through Dan 7:13,14 . I agree with you. Because the One who is coming on the clouds ( I also understand as Jesus) is
      approaching The Ancient Of Times.

And thank you sister for your inspiring words.

  6. Hey Claudette
The translation I use on my phone, for Daniel 7:13; as I continued to watched the vision that night, I saw what looked like a son of man coming with the cloud of heaven, and he was presented to the Eternal God.
So I believe that the Ancient of Days is God the father and the one that looks like a Son of man is Christ Jesus. This phrase Son of man is also used thru out the bible especially in Matt: 25:31 (King James).
